Privacy Policy

Effective August 14, 2026

The RatePeek app sends no product information to a RatePeek backend. There is no RatePeek account system or remote product database. The RatePeek website uses Google Analytics for basic site statistics.

Information RatePeek processes locally

RatePeek reads local usage metadata from supported AI coding tools so it can show quota windows, reset times, and token analytics on your Mac. This processing happens on your device.

RatePeek does not collect prompt text, model responses, or source-code content.

Provider connections

When RatePeek requests live quota information, the request goes directly from your Mac to the corresponding provider using the sign-in that provider already stores on your device. Credentials are not sent to RatePeek, bundled into the app, printed, or stored in RatePeek caches.

Information sent to RatePeek

RatePeek currently receives no app usage data. Because no product data is sent to us, we do not retain, sell, or share product usage data.

Website analytics

The RatePeek website uses Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand visits and website interactions. This may include pages viewed, referral source, browser and device information, approximate location derived from an IP address, and interaction events. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers as described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Website analytics does not include your prompts, model responses, source code, provider credentials, or the local AI-tool usage data processed by the RatePeek app.

Support email

If you email support@ratepeek.app, we receive the information you choose to include and use it only to respond to your request, investigate a problem, or maintain support records.

Policy changes

We may update this policy as RatePeek changes. The effective date at the top will show when the latest version applies.
